A question moves through four stages:

1. Classification. The question is mapped to one of 60 canonical categories, such as Strategic business decision, Ethical analysis or Planning.
2. Panel composition. Standard uses the category's five routed roles. Fast uses a focused three-voice panel, Philosophical extends the routed panel with the Philosopher, and User Defined runs only the 2–10 voices selected by the user.
3. Reasoning. Each personality writes its contribution under its assigned role or user-selected panel position.
4. Synthesis. A final pass weighs the panel and produces a structured answer with confidence, residual uncertainty and a "cost of being wrong" note.

Synthesis is terminal. No new panel calls happen after synthesis — this prevents runaway loops and keeps cost predictable.
